I recently paid for and downloaded video coverage of a sporting event through Media Zone. In order to play the files, which are in Windows Media format, I am required to download a license, which I have and it all works fine when watching through media player. However, when I try to burn onto DVD to watch on my stand alone DVD player I run into trouble. When I attempt to load the video files into Nero Express it says it can't read them. Anyone know of a workaround for licensed files?
I'm assuming they're WMV files. You'll need to convert them to DVD in order to burn them. WinAVI can do that. http://www.winavi.com
i have the same problem. But the file has an .wmd extension. how can i remove the license? i want to keep it in my pc for good and open it anytime i want. thanks.
WinAVI experiences the same problem as Nero Express, it can't open the file. When I play the file in Media Player it needs to access and verify the license first before opening the file. So I need a burning program which can do this.
