Hello everyone, This is my first post here. I've read the rules and tried searching for this topic, but I wasn't able to find anything specific to this issue I'm having. I have burned data-DVD's, data-CD's and VCD's, using NERO. I'm working pretty much exclusively with avi files (mpeg layer-3, 128kbps if that's at all informative) that are usually between 150-230 MB. What I want to do: Is it possible to make an actual DVD's (compatible with DVD players, that is) that can fit as many or almost as many of these video files as a data-DVD can? I can fit usually around 25 files on a data-DVD, but when I try burning as a regular DVD, I can only put maybe 4 or at most 5 files on it. I'd be glad if I could fit even just 10 on an actual DVD. In fact, even if what I burn can't play on a DVD-player, it's okay (although not ideal) as long as I can make a nice menu for it and it has a DVD-like appearance when played from a computer. I liked making menus for my VCD's but I had to stop because VCD quality is so poor and ordinary data-CD's could hold so many more files. Hopefully there's a way to do what I want without the quality of the video suffering as a result. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your time and consideration. Dorothea
convert the avi to wmv to make them smaller size and burn them with NeroVision found on nero's main page. If you have nero you wont have to pay for it. IT will automatically insert your serial #. This may work try it 4 urself
WinAvi Video Converter v 6.3 or Blaze Media Pro. If you need a serial # pm me i can get ya one. This is only a option im pretty sure it will work for you tho.
