burning mds error

    hi i recently bought rainbow six raven shield i made a back up but no burning software recognizes the mds mdf.they have the same name.will converting to iso help.if so is there a software

    try this link, type your file type in and see if you can get imfo on another application to proceess this:

    what failed with alcohol.What was the error you got

    thanks for link i'll try isobuster.ummm it said not accesible on nero i think and on dvd decrypter and alcohol it says not valid image or sumtin

    thats strange as mdf files normally work, i'm wondering if yourt file is corrupt or damaged

    who says you can't teach an old dog new trix!!!! I may be old but I'm still on top of my game! and we were all noobs at one point..... some more than otherS LOL :-D

    your not wrong, post count still means squat but infomation thats another thing entirely.As for status i'm not as respected as an addict, member suits me just fine

    @ bignewb, wonder if you can actually copy this if its an original, as you may not have bypassed the encryption properly

    Hey BIGnewb,
    I had a similar problem. It was easily solved by opening Alcohol, going to virtual drives in the options box, clicking shell extentions, X-ing the other extentions options then adding the .mds or .mdf. Also if you click the select all button, mds will be associated with Alcohol.
