burning movies to cd-r

    hi, can anyone tell me how to put a movie that i have downloaded onto a cd-r so that i can play it on my dvd player? The film is in AVI format.

    There are two ways to do it. Either get burning software that will also convert it for you or get burning software that will create VCD's or SVCD's. If you go with this one you'll also need to get a converter, for VCD you want mpg for SVCD you want mpg2.
