I recently downloaded Utorrent and downloaded movies but I'm so new to this. I don't know how to burn the movies onto a DVD. My computer came with Roxio and I've tried several times to burn movies but I keep getting an error message on my DVD player when I try to check them. It says UNKNOWN. I have a divx DVD player so it is able to play burned movies but I'm not sure that I'm burning them correctly. I know nothing about converting files or whatnot. Please help.

If you have a DivX file (that plays ok on the PC using the media player) then use your [Roxio] program to write the file to disk.. a data DVD disk.
All it does is burn the Divx file (or as many as will fit) to the DVD.
Insert it into the DivX compatible player and push 'play'.

The other option is to convert the DivX files into DVD format and Author them to a DVD disk.
I don't know anything about Roxio so I can't assist with that particular program - however, Nero can do it, also free programs are available too.
