Just want some advice on what is currently the best software to use for burning a bunch of vidoe files from my PC onto DVD's. I have a bunch of videos in mpeg1, mpeg2 and avi that I would like to do this with but am a bit lost at the moment on what software to get to do this.

    Regards

    hi hammerpgh

TMPGEnc is a great prog that will encode your avi's and mpeg's to mpeg2(dvd compliant)

Then youll need a authoring prog like TMPGEncDVDauthor
to create your video_ts folder with your vob's and stuff that youll need to burn you dvd.

you may be able to put youe mpeg1,2 straight into the dvdauthor if there encoded properly already(but more likely youll need to encode them to dvd compliant with tmpgenc)

    Hi hammerpgh,

If you prefer all-in-one solutions, give a try to NeroVision Express (part of Nero 6). It converts your AVI files to MPEG/VOB and burn them.
