I recently downloaded a tv series and now have 13 episodes, if I burn 3 or 4 onto a dvd will my player recognise its more than 1 or is there software I can use to split them up with a menu ? Thanks in advance for any help.
If you use proper DVD authoring Software you will be able to author them to DVD with a menu were you can select which Episode you want to watch.... Actually even Most Basic DVD authoring Programs Like Nero vision express and Ulead DVD Movie Factory can do this but I prefer to use a More advanced program Like "MediaChance DVDLab pro" to do it as it has many More menu options and Just Plain makes Nicer Looking DVD"s but you need to encode your Files to DVD Compliant Mpeg-2 format First..... Cheers PS: If you Don"t mind haveing about SVCD or VCD quality then you can Fit a lot more than 3 or 4 episodes on a DVD, if you use the Half D1 DVD Standard you could Fit at least 4 hours on a DVD or useing the SIF/CIF DVD Standard you can Fit over 6 hours on a DVD...
No, DivXtoDVD(Freeware Version) Doesn"t do that, well it does sort of But not really...DivXToDVD makes a Video_TS folder with VOB files in it and VOB files are Basicly Mpeg-2 files , You could Load the VOB files that DivXToDVD Makes into a DVD authoring Program but it would be easier to author Mpeg-2 files and if you used a Proper Standalone Mpeg-2 encoder you would Achieve much better quality also.... A Good Standalone Mpeg encoder is Something like "Tmpgenc Pluss" or "MainConcept Encoder" or "Canopus procoder".......
