i want to burn about 9 movies for my kids on 1 DVD. quality isnt really important, but play time is. i know i gotta use DVD shrink and compress each movie repeatidly, but after i do that to each movie how do i burn them all at the same time? do i put all the movie files for each movie into one folder?
hi how big are the movies each? can you list sizes... i would say you will get 2 on ok going on average size etc... you can use re-author mode in dvd shrink to add films it will play them one after the other in sequence (no menu!!!)
this link should help, i have done 3 movies on disc with shrink and the quality was ok. http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/shrink101.htm peace
Don't be a cheap bastard. It's not worth the time it'll take to re-encode/compress when all it should cost you is 30-40 cents for another DVD blank.
hey being a cheap bastard puts an extra 30-40 cents in my pocket anyways the list of movies are shrek 1&2 the incredibles ice age lilo and stitch toy story bambi rugrats go wild theres a few others. i just want to put multiple movies onto 1 disk so i dont have to change a movie for my kids every 1.5 hours. if the movies come out looking like a crappy vhs tape with bad tracking that be fine.
so far i put ice age, sponge bob and lilo and stitch on 1 dvd. for some odd reason lilo and stitch wont play. i compressed each movie to about 1,200 mb and the quality is real good. cant hardly tell any difference. and the movie wont play on the kids TV DVD VCR combo television. it will play on the living room TV and DVD player.
can the combo play the media that it is burned on...-/+R? We have a combo in one of the bedrooms and it plays both, but it's new. MovieDud
i think its the tv, i think i need to take it in to have looked at. it takes forever to load some movies or not at all.
This guide I made is generally for putting just 2 movies on 1 disc but, you could actually do as many as you want if you are not to worried about video quality. - http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47252
