    Hi I am a Nebie and I have trouble burning with DVD shrink I can open files and even download them on to my computer but it will not let me burn them sucessfully. I alwasy burn just a little bit and then it gives me an errror message. I have been working with tecks from Gateway and so far they have done nothing to help they just tell me to reload my drives and reinlstall windows(I have done both with no luck) also I have used different Media and I have reinstalled NERO and DVD shrink. WHAT CAN I DO. PLEASE YOU GUYS ARE MY LAST HOPE.
    Here is the error message that I keep getting. Thanks.

    Are you opening the files in Nero, or having Shrink automaticaly burn after encoding? Sorry, not very good with the log-stuff. I read something about sequential recording mode for multisession,I may be wrong but I think the dvd burning should be a write-once operation.

    I have tryed to do both. I have let DVD Shrink do It automaticly, download it to my hard drive and then open it up with dvd shrink and then burn, i have tryed to open the files and burn them with nero after dvd shrink put them on my hard drive, i have tried to use other porgrams to burn the dvd on my harddrive as data not as a stand alone dvd. also i have been exparamenting and it wont even transfer any data onto a dvd( -r or -rw)

    I just got a new error message when testing the drive with NERO's drive tester and it says

    Error- Power On, Reset, or Bus Device Reset occurred (062900)

    And in ROXIO I got an error message that says

    E80041899 write error- buffer underrun occurred.
    and in the comments of what that means it says---inproper termination of the bus (SCSI only)

    IS IT JUST ME OR DO COMPUTERS LIKE MESSING WITH HUMANS?
    hahahaha

    @Scifreek -
    - sorry but can't resist a LMAO!.

    Roxio and Nero don't usually play well installed together.
    ps have updated the other thread you replied to, in great detail - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/5/172564, so hopefully you should be burning soon if you follow my repsonses to your other post.
