Just wondering if one of you kind folks can help me out here, I have Shenmue II which is about 6GB big want to burn it to work on a normal not double layered dvd disk 4.7GB what can I do??? How can this be accomplished. I know about copying to the hard drive but I really just want to know how to compress the game or take some audio out perhaps to mak eit smaller. Any ifno would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance.
try downsizing the videos and audio use the PSS-Downsampling-Tool i have it but can't remember where i got it i think www.backuptools.co.uk
You can always remove these files when burning games: dashupdate.xbe update.xbe downloader.xbe If it's still too large...if you are using an NTSC TV, delete any videos for pal; and vice versa. If its still too big, do what that guy said^
Thanks for the help but www.backuptools.co.uk is a dead site and attempted to remove files suggested but they are not in the game folder at all. Any more suggestions???
You might just want to remove any video files since the videos don't really effect the game...and for me, they get quite annoying when you have to sit through them.
http://www.balugabutt.com Always check balugabutt when you can't get a game to fit on a DVD-R. For Shenmue 2, remove this. /scene/04/movie/s1digest.sfd
