this might be part of your problem.

Noy enough memory means your computer cant do all the things you want it to do.

    What are your pc stats?

Your firmware is one revision behind, current version is BYS3 and can be found here: http://dhc014.rpc1.org/indexOEM.htm#DW-D22A

Also, are you drives showing up in my computer, and in Device Manager are there any yellow !'s or ?'s?

The download should have come with a readme file giving instructions on how to flash.

I have successfuly updated the firmwave using ltnFW as the readme said. After rebooting i viewed the drives in ltnFW and indeed it recognises that the firmware has been updated.

I tried to burn a quick cd in winamp and still no luck, i tried in media player and no luck & also alcohol & surprise surprise no luck. I will post up an updated log later when i have time.

    thanks for the help guys

    "ASPI is not installed"

Is this the problem?, it says this on both of my drives
