hi to u all... im new in this forum so if this prost doesnt belong here feel free to move it and if necessary close it

well i have this big problem so i'd really appreciate if you could help me...

the thing is that i download this game that was split into several files (.001 .002 .003...) i join them together using the winrar and i got the iso... well the problem is that when i try to burn the it using the nero 7.0 portable i get a problem...

i read in some forums that an update to my firmware may help me but i've no idea how to do that... anyway... here is my log...

Looks like your using the original firmware so and updated if needed. A update in english is A116 - here's a link.

There is a newer one A117 buts it's in Japanese and extracts the actual exe to a folder you need run which is also in japanese:) A little bit is in english and your drive will pop under target drive. For the A117 you would click on the red icon on the bottom right hand side to update. The blue one is for exit.
    Link for A117.
For either one you run the .exe, have no discs in the drive, close running programs and keep the power on. Then press the red button to update for either version. It will take a minute or two.
Reboot and the drive should be updated.

    Physical memory : 247MB
    Free physical memory: 85MB
    Memory in use : 65 %

Add another 256 mb in memory if you can. Close any unneeded programs when burning to keep as much memory free as possible.

Since you burning in simulation mode at least you haven't wasted any discs!

    Edit: Typos

The updated firmware will 'stick' with the drive. It's updated to it's memory.
Which version did you update to - A116 or A117?

Sony made media is usually pretty good stuff but even with the firmware update may not be that compatible.
Try different media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim.

    Not a problem
I'd go ahead and try updating to the A117. The only problem was trying to read the interface since it was in Japanese.
Since the red button for either one does the same thing - give it a go.
The actual firmware code is written in code the drive understands so that's all that really matters to the drive :)
