Hi, I have a problem burning to these new dvd discs with nero because it fails at the end. I tried the same with another disc and it worked fine. I was just wondering if anyone knew how i could change the preferences so I could burn them to these particular discs. They're: gigatain DVD-R 4.7 120 Min

Try burning faster, I'd suggest 8X or 12X

Basically your burner is having problems with your discs, but they are coding as Taiyo Yuden which should be top notch. You might try your PC's manufacturer site for a firmware update for your burner....it is a HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH15F

I think there is something with the buggy Nvidia drivers that report DMA incorrectly. DMA is probably actually on, if this is the case and DMA still seems to be an issue you might need to look in BIOS to see how DMA is set up there.
