Yes I know yet another burning problem. I just downloaded IMGBURN I have some .avi files that I would like to get on DVD-R. I am very new to this hole thing. I bought the DVD+R disc hopeing that there the right ones. My question is how do I get the .avi movie onto my disc so I can watch it in my dvd player. Please any help would be great. Thanks

Unless your standalone player is DivX certified, you first have to convert the files to DVD format.
    Try FAVC or DVD Flick.
They will optionally burn the disk using ImgBurn.

As to DVD-R or DVD+R, the standalone manual indicates the type of disk it will play (most play either).

If your standalone player can play DivX files, then you would simply run ImgBurn and choose 'Write files/folder to disc'
