burning scrambled dvds, what should i do?

i finally got platinum to quit giving me error messages and burn dvds, but now the dvds are all messed up. the screen that says dvd backup comes up fine but everything else is screwed, even the audio.

what in the world do i do about this?

 

I would personally recommend migrating towards the new DVD shrink (version 3.2) to back up your disks. It's free & a bloomin good effort.

what brand dvds are you using?

might just be bad media. try dvd shrink as brian said, and if that doesn't work, try better media (verbatim or ritek).
