I am burning several lost episodes that are avi files. I go to nero smartstart then I go to nero vision and select create dvd. I add my files and start the burning process. When I go to play it back on my dvd player the audio is on perfectly, but as the movie plays on the audio because slow. The mouths move then the sound comes about 1-3 seconds later. I have wasted about 6-8 dvd cd's trying to burn these lost epiosodes. When i burn a avi movie its fine. Can anyone help me?
That is usely because of droped frames during the conversion. And most of the time is because of the original. Playing from the avi is more forgiving of this then conversion to dvd is.
There may be other programs that will resynch on the fly. Sorry I dont know what ones to try though. You could also use something like virtualdub or some such app to synch the audio and video but will be a good bit of work. I have found when that happens it is not worth my time to synch it. So I just burn the download as is and play it with my certfied divx player. If I want to keep a dvd of it I record the avi from my player to my set top dvd recorder. The lsi chipset in it does all the cleanup for me. Sorry I can be of no more help then tell you to search google for synchronize audio and video or something like that. You will find many guides for it.
