i have the "imtoo dvd creator " and when i add my files to it to burn ( my last one was 6 files ) takes over 4 hrs to complete it im new to the dvd thing just learned how to do the CD thing any ideas i have been to their homepage and even sent in to support with no reply and no help should i get a diff creator is that what i need ... this is easy as all i do is pick my files and it does what it supposed to be dont to put them on the disc as i have no idea how to chand them to run on a dvd home player i thank you in advance
sounds like a DMA problem. so to get back in DMA mode instead of PIO mode(which will cause the slow down) go to device manager and uninstall the IDE controllers reboot the machine and windows will reinstall them and you should be back in DMA mode. heres a guide also that may help http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038
