Burning SVCDs

    How much avi before conversion to SVCD will fit on a 700 Mbyte cdr? Need to know so I can split file accordingly.

    Depends totally on the bitrate you choose to use for your SVCD. Best is to encode the video first into MPEG-2 (SVCD's format) and split it after that. Normally around 40-55 mins of good quality SVCD can be fitted on one 80min CD.
