    snowdonia,

You will need Alcohol 120% to burn an ISO Image to your HD. Then, use Alcohol 120% to burn the ISO Image to your HD. I will check to see if I can find a thread that talked about Sims 2.

I tried looking at some thread that I have subscribe to, but none was detailed enough reference it. This is what you need to do...

    1-Download Alcohol 120%
2-Use A120% to burn to your hard drive as an ISO image
3-After burning, you can use NERO or another burning program to burn the image to cd (Not sure if A120% can burn it to a disc)
    4-Should be about to play....

I would save the ISO Image of the game of disc 1 on the HD and mount it to a virtual drive. A120% has virtual drives as well as Daemon Tools. Virtual drives runs faster and has no pauses or glitches in the gameplay.

i heard daemon tools allows you to play without cd and there's no hassle trying to find a no-cd patch but i need someone to tell me how to do it....
