I'm using CloneDVD or DVD Shrink and no matter which program I select, it always take at least 2 hours and up from start to finish. Am I missing something in the set up or is this normal?

    hi

2 hours includes ripping the original to hard drive and then setting dvd shrink to take main movie or full movie with a few sounds took out etc and also to burn to dvdr???????

1 hour and a half as a guess?

all depends on system specs burn speed size of dvd to how much compression, etc so could be ok?

not too much to go on really, but hey i gave it a shot...

welcome to afterdawn to, sorry forgot that bit...

those r both good apps i use them myself. if u r looking for something alittle faster u could try 1click dvd, superclone dvd, or dvd xcopy xpress just to name a few. just remember that speed usually reduces quality. i wouldnt burn over 8x.
