hey my dvd burner comes in later this week and i was wondering.. i have all 3 seasons of trailer park boys downloaded.. each episode is about 220 or so megz and all 3 seasons are 4.68 gigs thats just under 4.7.. there vcd quality so its not to great but can i burn all 3 seasons being about 23 or so episodes onto a dvd-r and watch them in dvd player as vcd with my own menus? like i know it says 120 minutes on dvd-rs that you buy but that means dvd quality right? if its just vcd quality u can put more correct? please inform me.. tahnks chris
You can certainly fit more than 120 mins on a DVDr, especially if the source is a dowloaded file. However, fitting 23 episodes on one disc is a bit of a stretch. Maybe put it over two discs (as I did with Scrubs). You cannot burn to DVDr in VCD format, but DVD format will accept VCD-compliant video files. If you already have VCD compliant MPEg files, just import them into an authoring program (such as TMPGENC DVD Author), make your menu, and export.
