Burning VCD to disc

    i have a problem i am using software called instant video to burn my vcds but ever time i burn them onto disc then play them in my dvd player their is always 5 mins cut off the end of the film i have tryed adding time to the end but when i do the disc wont play in my dvd player. WHATS THE PROBLEM PLEASE HELP SOME ONE!!!!
