burning videos from my computer

    What type of software can be used to burn video files onto a dvd-r disc?

    Do you mean you want to create a DVD out of Video Files??? If so then the answer is You don"t burn Video files to DVD to make a DVD, Video files must be authored to DVD useing a DVD authoring Program plus the Files have to be DVD Compliant Mpeg2 files...
    If you want to use a Very simple DVD authoring Program then Try "Tmpgenc DVD author" and it will allow you to add menu"s and Chapters and then author the files to DVD as Long as they are DVD Compliant...
