burning vts files to a dvd for a stand alone player

    I'm a nubie at this- here we go-I rented dvd's -liked them made a backup copy(dvd) - copy's perfect- save the file on my computer -comes up as a vedio_ts-use imgburn and other burning programs and it burns anywhere from 88%-98%-What could I Do To Fix This? If I Can. Thanks. PS I have made at least 12 trys all failures ,I also replace DVD Writers ,No Difference

    yes you are new to this..... and if you are backing up rented DVDs then you are doing a NO NO here! we don't discuss PIRATING. read forum rules please.
