    ok thats a start
    how bout the burner #
    nero's version #
what kind of movie (off the net... .avi file or an original)
TDK media is not the greatest and an 8x burn is too fast
try trusted media such a verbatim, ty, fuji, sony, maxell (made in japan) except the verbatim, made in taiwan..
what kind of memory does that dell have?

Nero 6, the burner just says pioneer 8X8 and I was doing a movie that I had shrunk with dvd shrink, tdk is all I have right now I ordered some taiyo Yudien disc but haven't received them yet. I may be low on memory my kids have lots of music and photos on the dell.

thats not the info i was asking for..
go to your program files (or where ever you have nero installed at, run the mouse over the folder ans see what version you have..

since you have nero 6 it should be like this.. 6.6.0.18 (which is the latest and last version of nero, before 7 came out)

    for your buners #
start >right click my computer >right click properties >hardware tab >device manager >select dvd/cd rom drives >select your burner, double click it, then at your top tab menu, select properties, there will also tell you what it is with the current firmware it has..

you can do this much much easier and faster with dvd decrypter but you will have to download and install it to know..
here is a link if interested..

    http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/SetupDVDDecrypter_3.5.4.0.exe

open the link, wait a second, then when the page opens, select on the left hand side, dvd ripping.. then it will take you to decrypter.. once you do that (if you choose) let me know..
post all the rest of the info and get back to me..
