WHEN I BURN MY MOVIES IT TAKE LIKE AN HOUR AN D AN HALF TO TWO OR LONGER TO BURN A SINGLE MOVIE IS THAT THE NORMAL TIME.
First up, lets turn off the caps, considered shouting. If you are burning AVI files then yes, thats about the time mine takes to transcode and burn, we need more information such as what you are burning, AVI or are you backing up a movie
i'm sorry i forgot the caps was still on yes its mainly the avi files and also on the update to nero 7 ultra a file takes up the whole dvd when the original didn'ti know i'm asking alot but when i do burn a movie it jumps is there something that i'm doing wrong thanks in advance
What brand of discs are you using and what is your burn speed. It is a relatively acceptable time to transcode and burn.
Hi warderboy Staples brand isn't very good at all. Better to use would be Verbatim or made in Japan Fuji, Sony or Maxell. Those brands w/ a good burner i would burn at 8x. For the Staples max I would burn at is 4x. The media and burn speed are probably the cause of your playback problems.
Since Staples 16x media code out as CMC Mag which is as binkie states not good media, take her advice and slow the burn down to 4x, you are just asking for bad burns at 16x speed from crappy media.
