Ok, I used to rip dvds to my pc, then put them onto my psp or ipod. Everytime I would watch the ripped dvd, a few minutes into the film, the sound would start getting more and more off timing with the picture. *Like what your hearing isn't what their mouths are saying because the timings off*

My solution was to just hit fast forward, or rewind really quick, which would seem to reset the sound with the picture.

Anyways, this thread is protaining to dvds i BURN. I use copy to dvd, or nero to burn the dvds, after i convert my avi's, or mpeg's to dvd format with x-converter.

The sound does the same thing. Anyone recommend software that doesnt do this? I can't stand watching a movie when there talking and there mouths aren't even moving to the sound output.

    ThanKs.

are the avi's out of sync before you do your conversion? if the3y are you can use virtuldub to fix that, you might try using convertxtodvd is a good file converter.
