freeview boxes dont work in the republic, only a freesat box which u need to connect to a satellite dish
so it only works if you recive freeview channels which we dont get in the republic. i bought it hopeing i could record live tv strigth to the box ..but your saying thats not the case..damn just wasted 100 euro
Freeview does work in the South but you need a dish. Do you have one? If you are looking for DTT there is a trial ongoing but you will only get it in certain areas, but you need a DVB T box. To pause, record etc, you need a PVR. When registering for freeview use a Northern post code
i have a dish but it has been disconnected for a long time ..would it work if i could find the lead for the dish and hook it up to it even though i have no contract with s*y . or am i just wasting my time . and just put it down to a bad lesson lernt and 100 euro down the drain
