I'm a little confused here, because I use the same process for a number of DVDs, but I only seem to have a problem with a few, which happen to mostly my Anime DVDs. Not sure why that is though. The tools I use are vobblanker, and the free version of menuedit. After the DVD files are on my HD, I use vobblanker to take out unwanted crap, like previews, logos, unwanted extras, ect. I haven't changed any of the default settings, and basically what I do is preview the dvd to see how it plays, remember all the stuff I want to take out, and then find it in vobblanker and blank it. I've never gotten an error, but with a few dvds, I'll get multiple warnings, which seem to translate to buttons going to content they aren't supposed to. Though a couple of times I've had the same problems when the proggie didn't announce any warnings. Then using the free version of menuedit, I remove the buttons that are no longer needed(whats the difference between "remove" and "hide and update"?), after which I shrink using DVDS. Most of the time this works fine, but on a few dvd's I'm left with a dvd with a menu where the bonus button goes to the chapter selection screen, where the extras are connected to the wrong buttons, and other misc annoying crap. So I guess what I'm wondering is, are there any settings in vobblanker that I should change from the default? Also, with my limited knowledge of dvd structure, is there a program that will allow me to change the menu commands manually, so that I can line up the buttons with their proper conent on these problem disks myself? Are there any other things I should try? TIA
Here you can find the answer. Question #2. http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=0234c7f730e7e858367fca51602eaa57&threadid=57186 You can change button commands with registered version of MenuEdit. But it is way easier to use DvdReMake Pro for this and many other things.
