A little help from gammers with more experience. I'm not a hard core gammer, just a mid 20's who thinks that the new 360 is bad ass. I've got the old xbox with all my games and want to purchase a 360 premium so I can play the new and the old. I went to costco to look at packages and 460 was the cheapest premium package, where people on craigslist are selling premiums plus multiple games, controllers etc (not modded because I want to play live) for 400 and under. What are the warranty details... I've heard 3 years if a sticker is intact... would you buy used... its so much cheaper but I dont want to flush away $400 either. Please advise
not true, get one from ebay and ask if its banned, and in the message tell them that u want to play on xbl, is this possble.
i would go new for the simple fact that: 1. you can not tell if it has been banned and not all people are honest enough to tell you 2. It may not be banned but may have been modded at one time and so you could still get banned 3. it could have had a 3 red ring problem that someone used a cheap fix on like the towel trick. And you could have a faulty system that will not last long. 4. with a new system you have a full 3 years of warranty on the 3 red ring issue and one year on other issues.
well i bought mine from ebay, look for how long the seller has been a member and that he has 100 percent feedback and sold lots of items , then they are genuine. Just look for one with iextreme lol.
I've bought 4 xbox 360's on eBay in the past and all of them had the console sticker in tact. In fact, the last time I bought one was about a month ago (also on eBay) from someone in NJ (I Live in brooklyn) and paid $272 including shipping! This was for a used premium with an HDD and wireless controller. The warranty seal was in tact (it no longer is ) and it works flawlessly. The guy had like 17,000 feedbacks or something, and I called them before to make sure the system isn't modded. He said that none of them are, and that they all work on live.
dude get one from the store because you never know when the red rings are gonna pop up. for example i bought one new from walmart for 400 and 2 days later red rings of death all I did was go to walmart and they switched it for another.
