I'd like to purchase a DVD burner (internal or external, doesn't matter). Only thing important is that it should be able to read and write region 1 and 2 DVDs. Are those copied DVDs playable in any DVD player afterwards? Thanks a lot Carlo

Looks good, thanks. Is the region decoding then a pure software or firmware matter for all burners, or are there burners that cannot be multiregion at all?
