buying a box need advice

    hi people have been offered a starview box trying to determine wether its ok or not .
    the description is it has 14 slots on top self updating in 2 seconds they say its a starview 1 box €140 does this sound genuine i thought the sv1 had 13 slots am i right? all advice appreciated

    Genuine SV1 has 25x7 slots on top.
    Anyway you`d want to be mad to pay that much for a SV1.
    You`ll get a SV3 or similar for that price. (even cheaper on the net)

    a starview 4 would be about the same, why would you buy an old box??

    Your being had mate, get yourself a SV3 or 4 or Eurovox

    thought so just checking with the experts anyone know a good site on web or somewhere in dublin to get an sv3 if your not allowed to give specific dealers i understand thanks for the info

    Skywonder, Wizard Sat to name a few, they sell genuine box's and provide a full back up for them via there forums and offer 1 year warranty, I would rathur pay a couple of quid more for peace of mind
