Im thinking of getting the Qoob bundle *youve seen them around online* and the thing is I dont have a gamecube ... I saw one today at the pawn shop of all places and the sticker price was 55 bucks with controller *idk if one or two because the guy said controllerS haha* and cables. It's a nice sleek black and it looks fine but Im kinna curious why a gamecube would just be sitting there in a pawn store I asked about it being guarenteed to play and the guy said I could play it for a lil bit and turn it on to check it if I wanna buy it. Think I should go for it? The thing that's on my mind is if that cube was used by someone else and the thing just messed up because they were trying to mod it or something like that, or maybe the laser is jacked. Either way I wanna get one and its either gonna be there or the game store for a used one *i believe 80 bucks*. Thanks guys ...
My brother bought me a $50 used cube w/ 2 controllers for christmas. Still haven't noticed any problems and it can boot backups without doing the pot tweak (that is if I have the right media)
yeah good idea .. thanks =) but if i plan on getting it with a mod chip i dont think its gonna matter ... maybe i should bring a game with me and see if they'll let me pop a disc in and just make sure at least it loads haha i mean if georaldc got a used one as well i would think this should be fine. im so paranoid because im not sure if it'll still be there by 2m =X
If they don't let you try it out somethings probably wrong with it but they will probably let you. Just make sure you get a warranty.
