Hi i am looking at buying a new computer for home. I do video ditting from my camcorder ad dvd burning but little to no gaming. I am looking at the following computer and would greatly appreciate any and all advise.
    AMD Athlon 64 3400+
    1 gb 400mgz ddr ram
    200 gb hard drive
    16x dual layer dvd burner
I am not sure the actual manufacturers of the equipment but would these specs lead themselves to a decent computer for dvd burning and such.

    Thanks

Should be fine for what you want. If you do large amounts of video, you might eventually want to add another hard drive, but that should be sufficient for the time being.

Thank you for the input. I have found this budget machine for $ 420.00 U.S. so if i have to upgrade it in the future, it still seems like a good deal. Thanks again.
