    god now i feel bad. he thanks us and i get him temp banned. ah well he broke the rules. maybe he had real success or the whole thing was a cover story to advertive inadvertently.

    anubis, don't feel sorry for him as i went thru all his posts editing, i saw that he was warned by neph in august but didn't edit his sig. consider himself lucky.

    i dont really, just one of those sudden things. he was around that long w/o changing it tho? come on mods, step on it! :p

    do people get bored on these forums? There really was no need to suspend me - i took the advertising out - and i've seen plenty of people with their signatures with their website link in it... And no i wasn't on the forum to advertise my site, as if you hadnt noticed i was also helping people in the PC hardware thread and the PS2 backup thread with swap magic etc. Everyone on this forum is out to get each other and try to get everyone banned, for the smallest matter. And also to the person that put that i was warned in August or whenever, i'd just like to tell you that i hadn't returned or posted in afterdawn after then, hence the reason why i didnt remove the signature.

    Another thing, i created this thread as i needed advice, which i got from some nice people, on buying a PS3 and importing it, not to advertise my site. So thanks to those who gave me advice, it has all been taken on board and i appreciate it :)

    I'm sorry for my little rant, but i just keep seeing people getting banned for the smallest things, and all i can bring it down to is boredom on the persons behalf who reports it, and sucking up to the mods.

    I'm not trying to get myself banned again, i just needed to get that off my chest as i felt it needed to be noted.

    Anyway, sig gone, now back to helping people and asking more about the PS3...

    jdgr81, a mod told you in august to edit your sig & i warned you to edit it but you didn't do anything so you got a temp ban for that. it has nothing to do with boredom or sucking up as that does not work with me but it is forum rules about sigs. when a mod tells you to do something than do it.

    Sup guys, i preordered the 60GB PS3 from Play-asia along with Resistence the game. I'm just not sure if this is a Japanese version only because it has the word Japanese highlighted on the units specs.. If this is a Japanese version, would it work ok in the United States, thanks guys.... There is no mention of it not working in the U.S.A.

    yes, but why would you screw yourself out of your own region benefits? the ps3 marketplace will display japanese origin items, you cant play and bluray movies from america, and you wont be able to tell what you are doing in resistance with all the words being japanese.

    wait, not so fast. according to this ign article, you might be able to change your region, but then again, you might not.

    find out first. keep the preorder i guess, and if you find out the regions in fact will or will not be changable, you can decide from there if you want to keep it.
