take the price of the premium console 400 dollars, then multiply 60 times 19 that comes out to be 1140 dollars, so for 500 bucks you are getting 1540 dollars worth of stuff, do you think its worth it?
if you get what he says is there it is well worth every penny. system $400 extra wireless controller $40 remote- no idea 19 games average of $45 each (some higer some lower)
If the games are copies, it's not worth it. Honestly, used copies on the net aren't worth squat. You won't know if your getting bad burns, crappy media, etc. Plus, the console is used. Maybe if it was a new mod. Ask him - What dvd drive is in the 360 - What firmware is installed - What's the mfg date - Will it include the original firmware on a disc If the mfg date is too old, pass on it. You won't have any warrenty and too many of the older consoles are having hardware problems for you to take a risk on it.
and to expand on bhetrick's great post (didn't even consider that they may be copies, LOL. would not think anyone was that dumb) If you can get it, you want one with a Samsung DVD drive running Extreme52 firmware. I think the MFG date on mine was like December 06
