    I bought a 300Gig HDD at Fry's for 150.00USD and now it is on sale one week later for 99.00USD. Has anyone gotten the money back for the difference? If so was it at Fry's?

    Yeah, I have done it many times... Never at Fry's though, so I am not sure about their policy.

    Take the one you purchased back to them saying it is not compatible with you computer (they won't ask questions if you have your receipt). Then about 2 hours or so later go and purchase one that is on sale.

    @Niobis:
    Ya I have already thought about that but that means deep formating a few times and then going back through and partitioning. Then I have to backup my HDD again abd reload vista on the second partition. Thats alot of work. I am going down tomorrow to see if they will just refund the money without that hassle. They know I could return it and just walk in and buy the one on sale so I hope this works.

    So I went to frys today and asked if I could have my money back and the woman said yes. I then told her that I saw it on sale in Sundays paper ad and would like the difference of $50.00. She scaned my reciept and said "Are you sure it is on sale because it still rings up at $149.00." I told her to go check Sundays ad. She came back and said "That sale ended yesterday and that I have thirty days from sale to see it reduced again." I pleaded with her to ask her manager to approve it after explaining to her that I was trying to get in but had car work done and had school. She went and asked and YES SHE GAVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!
