    When your done and you put the disc in the PC:
    Does it Play?


    If yes then it's probably a problem with either the write speed or the media, as your burning at 2x I doubt that the problem, I would be looking at trying some different media.

    Some standalone players will read certain media while others will not. There is a list of media and players at www.videohelp.com.

    If it will not play in the PC then there's a problem with the way you are encoding or burning.....

    Give us some more details and we'll be able to help you better.. =)

    I cannot play in any dvd player and it worked great for two months. I know the drive works, because it records cd perfectly. I think it uses the same laser to burn cds and dvds. Am i right? The drive burn my dvd and it says burned successfully. So i think it is a problem with the software or settings. I hope you can help me.

    This is garbage media. Try with some good media. TY's or Verbs.
