Im trying to burn command and conquer 3 and having some trouble doing so. I have been making back ups of my dvd's/cd's for some time and never had such a hard time. Ok im using Alchol 120% to make and burn the image. When reading the image it says 2nd layer could not be read but goes on. When i mount the image it runs just fine and i have no problem. But when i try and burn the image it runs through the procuess and says its complete. When i try and run from the dvd dual layer i just burned it says the dvd dual layer is blank. I have a dual layer hP burner and im not having no luck here. dont understand why its not working right...my guess is A-120% dont support dual layers. Does any one know what i can use to make this work? Thanks
i think your talking about a dvd game? and i think there alot diferent to a DL movie, try games forum you tried IMGBURN to burn it? its free and highly professional and maker has his own website/forum and is very knowledgeable indeed!
Moved to an appropriate forum. What brand discs are you using? As suggested try Imgburn and if you still have problems include a log in your next post.
Ok i done what u guys were talking about with imgburn and presto!! I have the game on a dual layer now and my PC reads the dvd dual layer. But when i put the dvd in my dvd rom it says please insert the original dvd not the back up! Now what? Im running windows OS vista ultmate, and XP on another system...now on XP it says elimination software detected. Im guessing its detecting either A-120% or imgburn. So i must uninstall them. RIGHT? But will the back up run on vista when it says please insert the original?? Thanks Rotary and LOCOENG hope u guys can help me out with this.
hi the disc is copy protected with securom, and to play a copied game of this sort you need EMULATION but this is known to fail as the newer securom hunts emulation software down on your pc, i did a quick google for you and found people are useing YASU to claok the drives when loading to a virtual drive i think? securom is a beast to break GOOD LUCK!
Well how would i hide my drives if i need my drive to run off of the dvd? I have all the programs to do this with. Thats how im running the game now is i added a V-drive and use Y.A.S.U to hide my drives im just playing the game from a image i created through A-120%. And i also have game jackle pro..witch is kick ass i might say..lol But i did make the copy of the PC dvd dual layer game but. . . . theres no since of having the back up if something happens and i need the back up and i cant use it. I know theres a way, some how i can do it. . . depends on how many dual layers i wanna waste...lol See on my Vista PC i cant run game jackle pro for some reason it keeps shutting its self down. But i made the image through A-120% and i play that way. But get this i dont have to use Y.A.S.U to hide the drives for some reason. It runs without hiding the drives, see most ppl use Dtools to add a V-drive hell i just used A-120% and never did have to use anything to hide my drives...not saying this will work for everyone but it did for me. Still would like to make a complete copy and have it work. Thanks Rotary
