some will say "yes" most will say "no"
it depends on what 1 you buy and then on your area for signal & quality,
as if you have a bad signal or poor quality on dongle, you will get poor quality on tv and it will keep on cutting out the picture.

It should work yes. If you have the dongle plugged into your laptop/pc and then lan connected to box from laptop/pc and enable internet sharing. Only problem might be your location and signal strength on your dongle from whatever provider. They fluctuate ridiculously in bandwidth so it would not be what I would call reliable. However, the bandwidth required to receive the information required is not much so you shouldn't have a problem if set up correctly. Also, remember your laptop/pc would have to on all the time you watch tv. There is also a router a few have mentioned on here that you plug your dongle into and it provides you with lan connections and wirelss signal in your home. Best of luck.

Try speedtest.net daithi or on eircoms site there is a speedtest facility which is very accurate.

The ping test will give you an idea of bandwith daithi as it tells you how long it takes to send and receive packets.
