Windows XP cannot or will not load drivers for the USB to UART device,
PC suite reckons it has the drivers for the CA-42 built in. Nope
third party drivers, tried them. Nope
Nokia's newest latest cable driver. Nope
Tried all the USB ports, same message
When I try to force it to load a driver computer says no

Uninstall everything including PC Suite and install the drivers first and do not have the cable connected.

Install PC Suite 6 straight from the Nokia site and then follow the instructions from there. It will work but it has to be installed in a sequence. I had problems at first with the same cable and a 6103 on a Sony laptop with XP but on the 2nd try, everything worked fine. I could not use the PC Suite that cane with the cable. I had to download from the Nokia site.
