cable card?

    hi guys sorry if i'm posting in the wrong forum section but I couldnt really find another one that fit well...

    I just wanted to know, what is this cablecard deal? I mean i kinda understand that its a way to switch all cable from analog to digital and all that but what does that mean for TV Tuner cards? I have the ATI TV WONDER ELITE... will it still work with cablecard or will i have to buy a new one with a cablecard slot? can someone explain all this to me please?
