Can someone please clarify which cable is required for the updating of 'the box' from your PC.... I believe it to be RS232 Female to Female.... However many modern PCs don't have a serial port, is a USB > RS232 Female cable available. If not do you have to use an adaptor and will this still work?
You will need a null modem cable DB9F to DB9F. i have kein system problem with my dbox2 i can't get it working i have tried to buy a null modem cable to connect to my laptop nothing work i can't see nothing working the computer doesnt even show that something is been connected on it nothing at all guys please help
