Can anybody throw some light on the subject. A mate of mine lives in Munich and was home a few weeks back and wanted to know if it was possible to use a eurovox/starview or any other type of satellite/cable receiver over in Munich to pick up the channels?? has anyone ever heard of them working over there or any other type of box?? Any information will be appreciated.
I wouldn't be sure about the eurovox or starview. You could look at the dreambox range though. They are a German company, and would be sure to work there, and there are lots of forums in German with info on them. He could also look at picking up a dbox2 from fleabay second hand, but a brand new dreambox would probably be the best way to go, 'cos at least he'd get a warranty and support.
