hi im with virgin i set up my eurovox yesterday and it works great i currently have a 2 way splitter coming from the wall one end going to the eurovox the other for my internet today i tried to wire the old pace box upstairs as we cant get freeview here. i used a 2 way splitter and split the wire conected to the eurovox, now a few channels on the eurovox went funny and upstairs i can only get channels 1 to 5 any suggestions to get the channels? would a 3 way splitter be better than 2 2 ways? thanks
Less connections the better. Use a good quality splitter, cable, (RG6 or CT100), and good quality RF connections. Also make sure all terminations are done correctly. If problems still persist use a booster.
wish id have known all that first i bought and used http://www.screwfix.com/prods/35212/Electrical/Cable/Coaxial-Cable/Labgear-Coaxial-Cable-Kit-25m is this really bad or can it be salvaged lol
Two words, "cheap and nasty" But should still work but you may get away with using a booster. Cheap Argos booster will do see here (although site is down at the moment).
so try a 3 way splitter first if not go for a booster? ive seen at screwfix a 4 way splitter but cant see a 3 is a 4 ok to use with 3 cables?
Much better 3 way splitter on fleabay, look here Note it is for twist on RF plugs. You can get RF connectors or adapters on fleabay also.
