Does anyone know if they make a cable to directly connnect from my xbox to my computer? I want to be able to use my computer screen instead of my TV to play my xbox on. If they make a cable what is it called. Thanks for your help! I know they make a cable that allows you to use your xbox controller as your mouse on your computer but I am not looking for this cable, only the one that allows you to connect from my xbox to my comp and allow to use my computer screen instead of my tv. Thanks again!

if i am correct about what you are trying to do, then you will need a VIDEO card on your computer (a video card that lets you watch tv on your computer).

there are tv tuner cards (that let you watch cable tv as well as RCA connections)

and there are devices that allow you to import RCA video (the one i have is a USB connection... very inexpensive)

either way, you need a device that allows for video input for RCA cables (the red, yellow, and white cords)

once you have the hardware... download any of the vast numbers of software (or just use something like media playerC)

    HOPE THAT HELPS

or you could get an RCA-to-VGA converter cable, but to use that you'd have to disconnect your monitor from your computer.

You can get a really good XBox-to-VGA adapter here (it's designed for the XBox): http://www.x2vga.com/. A friend of my bought one and let me try it out. It works great and has a lot of good features. The web site does a better job of explaining them, so go there.
