    Hi Guys

I moved into an appartment, it has an old cablelink box. The reception was bad because the previous person had it plugged into radio ouput and not TV output.

When I switched them around and scanned for channels I got RTE, NETWORK2, BBC2, SLYNEWS, TV3, TG4 and some channel called RADIO.

I was wondering, is there any way I could get more channels? Like BBC1, UTV, C4 and SLYONE?

Or am I stuck with what I have? I have an old starview 2 box. Will that get any channels or are all of them on N3?

    Anyhelp would be great guys.

you should get roughtly 19 channels on that cable you wont get nothing on the box as them boxes are dead in dublin since last august make sure you have a good connection to the box and you should be fine manually tune the stations into the tv as they are very close to each other and if you scan them its possible they will be missed

    Still can't get anymore channels.

    RTE2 is poor quality
    BBc2 Scotland, ITV2+1, SLYnews, TV3, TG4 & RTE1

Is there something I am missing here? Are those not unusual channels to have?

Do you guys reckon there is anyway to get more?

    Cheers

if your paying for the service contact your apt manager, that sounds like your TV is comming from a communal service, I could be wrong as you dont get bbc scotland on normal service or itv 2+1,
