Call of Duty 2 Error

I have just bought cod2 and i installed it on my machine(laptop)
it has the new intel graphics card in it 915g express family chipset
and whenever i try to run it it gives me a cod2 error-i know that it is a laptop but when i bought this machine it said i could run cod2

it has 1024 of ram too
please dont-

I have a friend with the same laptop he can run it.
I have already updated all of my drivers and everything.
