Hi i need help when i play cod4 multiplayer i get kicked then a message restriction:server communication failuer pnkbstrb:exe initialization. Is there a fix for this.or did i miss something when i loaded it
means you dont have punkbusterb or a running. Try updating and usually it will install automatically. It also is a startup process and stays there. Also check yout firewall as it might be stopping the process from running.
Ok i reinstalled the game & got this message pbsuc error can,t open file ic\windows\system32\log file\punkbustre\\pnkbstrb.log cerrer2:the system cannot find the file specified & multiplayer still kicks me
Like geestar20 said, try updating PunkBuster. It's set to update automatically while you're playing, but sometimes needs to be updated manually. I've had many problems with PunkBuster and CoD4, and a manual update seems to always solve the problem/s. Here's the link for the PBSetup.
