    I just bought a new 22 inch monitor (Acer X223W) and call of duty 4 kept on having the same message: "the program has stopped working". Here are the specs for my pc:

    Motherboard: ASUS Maximus Formula Special Edition
    CPU: Core 2 Quad Q6600
    Sound: Supreme FX 2
    RAM: 4GB
    OS: Windows Vista Home Premium
    Video Card: ASUS EAH3870 DDR4 512MB PCI-E 2.0
    Monitor: ACER X223W 1680 x 1050
    Hard Drive: 500GB 7200 RPM
